Q. What is the difference between HardSub and SoftSub?
A. HardSub are hard coded subtitled files where the subtitles are permanently encoded to the file resulting in one video file. Softsub are non-permanent subtitiles where the subtitle file is a separate file, usually in .srt or .ssa format and is loaded with the video file.
Q. How do I play the video files from this website?
A. Installing the Combined Community Codec Pack is recommended to play all the files on this website.
Q. How do I play SoftSub files?
A. Assuming you have installed the Combined Community Codec Pack which also installs VobSub, the only thing you need to do is ensure that both files are in the same folder and that the names of the video and the subtitle file have the same names. For example, you have a video file name apple.avi and a subtitile file named banana.srt, then you will need to make sure both files have the same names: apple.avi and apple.srt.
